Husband and wife should discuss and communicate with wisdom

Husband and wife should discuss and communicate with wisdom with each other to convey what they like and dislike of each other to do or not to do. Do NOT give commands or instructions like he's your servant. “They are garment to each other”

sister Maya Z. converted to Islam

Not very long ago, I was preparing myself to be a Christian soldier against Islam, fighting with my words, not by force. the Quran had been known to me as a dangerous book.
but when I read the opening of the Quran , I could not stop the tears. I learned there was much peace that comes from reading this book of God. I compared it to the bible, my questions ever increasing. Why did I worship Jesus all this time when, even in the bible, Jesus clearly instructs the crowds to worship the one true Lord, and to serve him only (Luke 4:8).

CRUSADERS SE FREEMASON AUR ILLUMINATI TAK, INKA MAQSAD ISLAM KI TABAHI.

CRUSADERS SE FREEMASON AUR ILLUMINATI TAK, INKA MAQSAD ISLAM KI TABAHI... PART 4 OF 12 [MUST READ ONCE]
Isme qabil ghaur bat jo hai wo ye ki Ghazi Sultan Salahuddin Ayyubi Rh.A. ne bhi sirf Jihad he kiya, wo bhi apne nafs ke khilaf nahi balki Yahood-o-Nasara ke khilaf, Islam dushmano ke khilaf talwar uthayi aur khoob lade aur QITAL FEE SABILILLAH KA FAREEZA ANJAM DIYA, YAHOOD-O-NASARA KE KHILAF MAIDAN MEIN AYE, 13 SAL IMAN KO MAZBOOT KARNE KI MEHNAT NAHI KI, KISI MUSALMAN KO DAWAT NAHI DI, NA HE KISI GHAIR MUSLIM SE MUNAZRAH KIYA AUR NA HE KISI KAFIR SE MUBAHILA, NA HE UMMAT KO EK KARNE KA BAHANA BANAYA KYUNKI SHIYAT US WAQT BHI THI AUR HAMESHA KI TARAH GHADDARIYA KARNE MEIN PICHE NAHI THI, AUR SABSE BADI BAT UNHONE APNE MULK KE LIYE MULK PARASTI NAHI DIKHAYI, YE NAHI KAHA MAIN TO SYRIA MEIN HUN, MAIN KYUN JAUN BAITUL MUQADAS KO CHUDANE, AUR NA HE PALESTINE MEIN REH RAHE YAHOOD AUR NASARA SE SECULARISM KI BUNNIYAD PAR, SULAH HUDAIBIYA KA WASTA DEKAR BAITUL MUQADDAS KO APAS MEIN BATNA GAWARA BHI NA KIYA KI HUM SAB BHAI BHAI HAIN, UNHE BHI IJAZAT DO, YA YE NAHI KAHA KI JAB SARE MUSALMAN MUTTAQI, PARHEZGAR, IBADATGHUZAR, TAHAJJUDGHUZAR AUR NAMAZI HO JAYENGE TAB JIHAD KARENGE, SULTAN RH.A. NE YE BHI NAHI KAHA “KI JIS DIN JUME KI NAMAZ MEIN JITNE MUSALMAN HOTE HAIN UTNE FAJR MEIN HO JAYENGE TO BAITUL MUQADDAS APNE AAP YAHOODI HUMEIN TOHFE MEIN DEKAR NIKAL JAYENGE”, unka sirf ek mission aur ek kam tha aur wo tha Jihad wa Qital ke zariye Qibal-e-Awwal ko azad karana aur Palestine par phir ek bar Islam ko ghalib kar dena ALLAH ne unke dil ki kudhan ko qubool kar liya aur Fateh Baitul Muqaddas (Qibla-e-Awwal) bana diya. Deen-e-Islam mein asal cheez jo hai wo Islam ka ghalba hai, Islam sari duniya par ghalib ho aur Islam ka asal maqsad he yahi jiske liye Nabi SAWW ko maboos farmaya gaya.
AGAR HIMMAT KARE PHR KYA NAHI MUSALMAN KE BAS MEIN,
YE HAI KAM HIMMATI JO BEBASI MALOOM HOTI HAI…

I really didn't have that many rules and guidelines to live by according to the Bible

I really didn't have that many rules and guidelines to live by according to the Bible and I was happy with that because I was lazy and didn't put much effort into anything that I did. So I was fine with this. But there came a day where I was not fine with how I was living, my belief in God and my fellow man. I was lost. I found my home in Islam. But it was a long trip that encompassed many different paths till I found the right one. But I'm being told by people that are like I once was - hateful and a bigot - telling me that I'm wrong for choosing this path. I can't blame them really, for what they believe. I really can't. I was once there. And the news, other media, and even school and college books portrayed Islam in an uncertain and dark light. But I came to understand that Islam is NOTHING what I thought it was. It is a way of life that requires peace, understanding, compassion, honesty and much more. These things are now what shape my life. They make me who I am today. I just pray that those reading this that don't know about Islam will find it in their hearts to pick up a Qur'an and read. Read the words that Allah (God in English) has given as a guide and a judge of mankind. Please, read and understand.

I'd like to share my revert story in hope to inspire others to come to islam

Hello, asalaamu alaykum!
I'd like to share my revert story in hope to inspire others to come to islam.
In sha Allah, My name before islam was Amie, my new name Ameena, I am a 21year old British girl and I reverted to Islam on August 21st 2012.
My brother had reverted to islam a year and a half before this and it was really alien to us all (mum me and dad) as we were "Christian" by name but Athiests. If that makes sense, we had no strong beliefs.
When my brother started growing a beard and practising islam I took it quite badly and had bad feelings towards his behaviour, I would mock him as did my parents and depending what the media said about muslims that's what I believed.
For a year he would talk with me about islam and would share books with me and forward me islamic lectures ect.. But I still continued to live my party life, in aiya napa and ibiza too busy being a party girl to even consider there could be anything after this life, to busy to care.
Then I came across a book by a non muslim scientist on the scientific facts of the Quran and I was blown away.
Then something began to change in me, I started to become aware of god, I would feel BAD for drinking. I Started becoming more aware of how I was dressing, started to become aware of my company and how they effected me in different ways.
I got rid of my boyfriend and started reading books by myself and watching islamic lectures, sheik Khalid Yasin and Dr. Zakir Naik really changed my life may Allah reward them and give them jannah. For the first time in my life I actually started talking to muslims myself rather than seeing what sky news had to say, as I'm sure god did not give his revelation to sky news or BBC, so I went to the direct source, the quran.
I came back from holiday and took my shahadah (testamony of faith) a week after alhamdulillah and from that day onwards I have never looked back, I feel embarrassed of the life I lived before islam, Allah had truly blessed me with a sister in law who is also a convert and my closest 4 friends took there shahadah also and I would never ever go back to the life I was living, once everything clicked I could no longer deny the truth andl i feared dying a non muslim.
Islam is a beautiful way of life and promotes unity, equality, compassion, modesty, the good treatment of women, husbands, wifes, children elderly, parents and is the soultion for mankind. I used to love money clothes and cars, I now love prayer, charity and fasts I thank Allah for lifting a veil of my eyes because only Allah knows what my lifestyle would have done to me eventually. Destroyed and ruined me.
Thank you for reading, asalaamu alaykum

Dr. Laurence Brown: Ophthalmic Surgeon, Expert on Comparative Religion, Author, and a former Christian

In 1990, I was in the last year of my ophthalmology residency at George Washington University hospital in Washington, DC. My second daughter was born October tenth. To my great dismay, she was a dusky, gunmetal blue from the chest to the toes. Her body was not getting enough blood, and the cause was found to be a coarctation of the aorta — a critical narrowing in the major artery from the heart. Needless to say, I was shattered. Being a doctor, I understood she needed emergency surgery, with a poor chance of long-term survival. A consultant pediatric cardio-thoracic surgeon was called from across town, and I left him in the neonatal intensive care unit to examine my daughter. With no companion but my fears, I went to the hospital prayer room and fell to my knees. A product of Christian-American heritage dating back to 1677, nonetheless this was the first time that I even partially recognized God. I say partially, for even then I prayed the prayer of a skeptic, “Oh, God, if you are there …” I promised that if God existed, and if He saved my daughter and then guided me to the religion most pleasing to Him, that I would follow. I returned to the neonatal ICU roughly fifteen minutes later, and was shocked when the consultant told me that my daughter would be fine. True to his assessment, within the next two days her condition resolved miraculously, without medicine or surgery. She grew to be a perfectly normal child and as of this date — July 2008 — is on the verge of her eighteenth birthday.
Now, as I said before, I am a doctor. And although the consultant provided a medical explanation for my daughter’s miraculous recovery, I simply didn’t buy it. I remember him explaining about a patent ductus arteriosis, low oxygenation and spontaneous resolution. But I also remember thinking, “No,” my daughter’s salvation was not a medical miracle, but a divine one. Many who make promises to God in moments of panic find or invent excuses to escape their part of the bargain, once God relieves them of their distress. I could easily have assigned my daughter’s recovery to the doctor’s explanation rather than to a miracle from God. But faith had entered my heart, and it wouldn’t leave. We had cardiac ultrasounds taken before and after, showing the stricture one day and gone the next, and all I could think was that God had made good on His part of the deal, and I had to make good on mine. Even if there was a medical explanation, that was nothing more than the pathway by which Almighty God chose to answer my prayer and effect His decree. I did not then, and I do not now, accept any other explanation.
For the next few years I tried to fulfill my side of the bargain, but failed. I studied Judaism and a large number of Christian sects. I felt I was on the right track, close to the truth but not upon it. I never fully embraced any specific Christian formula, for I could not reconcile the differences between Christian canon and Jesus’ teachings. Eventually I was introduced to the Holy Qur’an and Martin Lings’s biography, Muhammad, His Life Based on the Earliest Sources.
During my years of study, I had encountered the Jewish scriptures’ reference to three prophets to follow Moses. I had concluded that John the Baptist and Jesus Christ were two, but that left one. In the New Testament Jesus Christ spoke of a final prophet to follow. When I found the Holy Qur’an teaching the oneness of God, as both Moses and Jesus Christ had taught, I become convinced Muhammad was the predicted final prophet. Suddenly, everything made sense: The continuity in the chain of prophethood and revelation, the One-ness of Almighty God, and the completion of revelation in the Holy Qur’an. It was then that I became Muslim.
Pretty smart, hunh? No, I would err greatly if I believed that I figured it out for myself. One lesson I have learned is that there are a lot of people more intelligent than I who have not learned the truth of Islam. It is not a matter of intelligence but of enlightenment, for “…whoever believes in Allah – He will guide his heart” (TMQ 64:11), “Allah chooses for Himself whom He wills and guides to Himself whoever turns back [to Him]” (TMQ 42:13), “And Allah guides whom He wills to a straight path.” (TMQ 24:46)
So I thank Allah that He chose to guide me, and I attribute that guidance to one simple formula: recognizing our Creator, praying to Him and to Him alone, and sincerely seeking His guidance. And whom He guides, none can lead astray.

Do you know who is the righteous husband?

He is the man who will choose you because the woman you are not because of a tight jeans or a short dress.
He is the man who will appreciate your loose Hijab even before seeing you with beautiful haircut, attractive clothes and make-up.

Christian lady interested in Islam

For the last few years, I have been interested in Islam. I have no idea where to begin in further studies. I am a nearly 50 year old woman and am a bit put off by the retractions (seemingly) regarding women. How can I begin to enter the realms of Islam to study? I am open to learning.
answer
Praise be to Allaah.
How women are dealt with is something that varies from one culture to another. A woman is usually subjected to the teachings, systems and customs of her society, good and bad alike. Many non-Islamic social systems, customs and ways of life are unfair to women. Anyone who studies them will find that the purpose behind them is to make women a means for men’s enjoyment under the banner of freedom. This is something which goes against the true religion and is contrary to the dictates of common sense and wisdom.
Is it wise or fair that a precious pearl should be shared by a number of people when one of them is able to keep it and look after it? Is it wise to uncover that which should be hidden merely for a few moments of fleeting pleasure?
Is it wise to open the door to provocation of desires, free mixing and women uncovering their beauty so that men may commit immoral actions with them, which leads to the spread of disease and large numbers of illegitimate children and the mixing of lineages? Is it wise to burden women with work outside the home which results in them neglecting the house and being crowded together with men and neglecting their children, which they are not able to bear, mentally or physically?
Look at this simple comparison between the situation of women in Islam and their situation in other systems and religions.
Firstly: Islam liberated women from enslavement to human beings and to whims and desires; other religions and systems have subjugated women to the devil and to whims and desires.
Secondly: Islam protects women’s honour and dignity; other religions and systems cheapen their honour and dignity.
Thirdly: Islam makes spending on women an obligation so that their dignity may be preserved; other religions and systems make women a product to traded in, and they put too much pressure on women to spend on themselves and go out to work.
Fourthly: Islam protects women when they are young and honours them when they are old; other religions and systems make that a burden on society.
Fifthly: Islam protects women’s wealth, children and life, and organize her life in a proper manner; other religions and systems neglect all of that.
So firstly: you should read the Book of Allaah (the Qur’aan) and study the commentaries on it (tafseer), such as the Tafseer of Ibn Katheer. [Translator’s note: this is now available in English, published by Darussalam, Riyadh] Then read Saheeh al-Bukhaari and Saheeh Muslim [also available in English]. Listen to Islamic tapes, especially those made by the shaykhs of Ahl al-Sunnah (Sunni shaykhs).
Secondly: you should go to the nearest Sunni Islamic center to find out what programs they have for teaching women.
Thirdly: you can benefit from the many Islamic sites on the Internet which present pure Islam and will be able to answer your questions, and you could write to some of the trustworthy Sunni Islamic institutions and ask them to send you books and magazines that will be of use to you, such as the al-Haramayn Institute and WAMY (World Association of Muslim Youth) – which has a women’s section.
Fourthly: You can get to know some Muslim sisters who could help you and teach you that which will benefit you, because a woman is better able to make another woman understand than a man is.
Fifthly: Beware of being deceived by some of those who claim to be Muslims but who in fact have nothing to do with Islam, like the Qadianis (also known as Ahmadis), Shi’ah, Baha’is and Sufis.
And Allaah knows best.
