19 years old reverted to Islam four months ago.
She said :" My whole life I have struggled with my identity and wearing Hijab gives that to me. Covering gives me freedom to choose who gets to see me. It is my protection; it protects me from people with closed minds and closed hearts. I believe most importantly, my Hijab allows me to be a walking representation of Islam. I am blessed to teach others about my religion, and my wonderful way of life, everyday.
